Job Title: QA Automation Analyst 3( In Person Interview at Austin, TX- Only locals)

Duration: 10 Months

Location: Austin, Tx

Key responsibilities:

  • Develop, maintain, and execute manual and automated test scripts.
  • Prepare detailed UAT test plans and test cases, align with business requirements, and conduct walkthroughs with stakeholders.
  • Track and report test case execution, providing regular status updates.
  • Log and manage defects systematically using Jira; ensure proper categorization and prioritization.
  • Build and maintain requirements traceability matrices to ensure coverage.
  • Perform various testing types: unit, integration, regression, smoke, user acceptance, system, stress, and performance testing.
  • Conduct API testing using tools like Postman, SOAPUI, or JMETER.
  • Write SQL queries for data validation and CRUD operations.
  • Develop and review performance testing scripts, analyze and report results.
  • Collaborate with Agile scrum teams to deliver release sprints on time with quality.
  • Support development teams in Dev, Test, and UAT environments, including defect troubleshooting.
  • Participate in test readiness reviews, providing recommendations for go/no-go decisions.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders, end users, and team members to ensure alignment.
  • Investigate and diagnose quality complaints, recommend corrective actions, and track improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with SDLC processes, usability standards, and quality frameworks.
  • Document testing activities and maintain accurate project tracking and reporting.

Required Skills:

  • 8+ years of Experience in writing and executing test cases, as well as creating test plans.
  • 8+ years of Knowledge of software usability concepts and requirements traceability, and Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) process.
  • 8+ years of Knowledge of Xray Test Case management tool
  • 8+ years of Knowledge of SQL query writing to perform CURD operations.
  • 8+ years of Proficient in using CI/CD pipelines to enhance software development testing processes.
  • 8+ years of Experience in conducting API Testing using Postman, SOAPUI, JMETER or similar
  • 8+ years of Experience in writing and executing tests automation using UFT
  • Experience working with the State of Texas HHS agency and system preferred.
