Job Title: SAP SD Manager

Location: Milwaukee, Wisconsin

About The Opportunity

Led a team responsible for a segment of the overall development and maintenance of the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) program within our Corp IT SAP Center of Excellence (COE). The concentration area for this position will be within the Sales and Distribution functions.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Lead a high-talent team in designing and implementing technology-enabled solutions for complex business solutions.
  • Participate in the development of systems requirements, functional specifications, designs, and prototypes, including both "As Is" and "To Be" documentation.
  • Lead resources performing SAP configuration and testing to satisfy requirements.
  • Identify and define SAP application interfaces, enhancements, and conversions.
  • Identify and define effective processes and procedural changes to maximize application utilization.
  • Recommend solutions for requirements that are not met by existing applications. (May entail modifications, enhancements and new software).
  • Lead resources in testing, training, and implementing practical business solutions under multiple deadlines, including user acceptance testing and end-user training.
  • Provide implementation start-up and post-go-live support.
  • Other duties as required.

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree Required
  • Minimum 8 years of relevant experience

Required Competencies and Accountabilities:

  • Proficiency in SAP Sales & Distribution (SD), with 5-6 years of experience, including multiple full lifecycle SAP implementation experiences.
  • Capabilities and experience in SAP configuration (IMG) for Sales & Distribution (SD) area (e.g. Documents, ATP, Pricing, Item Categories, etc.)
  • Experience with nuances of Make-to-Order and Make-to-Stock strategies within SAP.
  • Experience with nuances of internal, multi-plant supply chain to service customer demand
  • Prior experience desired includes hands-on functional experience in an SAP implementation with a focus on system design and strong SAP configuration skills.
  • Prior experience desired with SAP's Variant Configuration (production configuration) functionality.
  • Ability to analyze 'As Is" and 'To Be' business processes and identify fit/gap for business requirements against SAP system functionality.
  • demonstrated ability to concurrently manage both small and medium-scale projects, applying necessary rigour to track and achieve desired outcomes and results.
