We're hiring Cable Technicians to support the buildout of structured cabling infrastructure in a large-scale data center environment. This is a hands-on opportunity to learn the trade from experienced professionals and grow into a long-term career in telecommunications. If you're mechanically inclined, reliable, and eager to work in a fast-paced construction setting, this is a great chance to get started.

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $23.00/hr.

We're hiring Cable Technicians to support the buildout of structured cabling infrastructure in a large-scale data center environment. This is a hands-on opportunity to learn the trade from experienced professionals and grow into a long-term career in telecommunications. If you're mechanically inclined, reliable, and eager to work in a fast-paced construction setting, this is a great chance to get started.
What You'll Do
- Assist with installing cable trays, pulling cable and fiber, and building server racks
- Learn to punch down and terminate fiber and copper cabling
- Route cable through walls and ceilings using fish tape and other tools
- Organize, dress, and label cables according to pre-termination procedures
- Support proper cable suspension using J-hooks, D-rings, bridal rings, and trapeze systems
- Install grounding for racks, equipment, and cabling
- Perform fire-stopping procedures and pull cable through sleeves and core penetrations
- Terminate low-voltage devices and follow blueprints for installation
- Complete all required documentation accurately and on time
- Adhere to safety standards and participate in team-driven quality practices
What You Bring
- Experience with hand tools and basic construction tasks
- Ability to follow blueprints and technical drawings
- Comfortable working at heights and in active construction zones
- Strong work ethic, punctuality, and willingness to work flexible hours
- High school diploma or equivalent
Nice to Have
- Previous experience in telecom, construction, or low-voltage cabling
- Familiarity with fiber termination, cable color codes, and server rack assembly
