About the Role:
- We are looking for a Senior UX Researcher to lead research strategy for AI-driven monetization and digital advertising experiences.
- In this role, you will shape how businesses connect with users through data-informed, human-centered ad experiences across search and digital platforms.
- You will partner with cross-functional teams including Product, Design, Engineering, and Data Science to define the advertiser and user experience strategy for next-generation monetization products. This position offers the opportunity to drive research that influences both product design and business strategy in a rapidly evolving, AI-first environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end UX research for digital advertising and monetization initiatives from exploration and concept validation to post-launch evaluation.
- Apply a wide range of qualitative and quantitative methods, including interviews, usability testing, concept validation, surveys, and data analysis.
- Translate complex findings into clear, strategic insights that influence product vision, ad formats, and monetization models.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional partners to ensure advertiser and user needs are reflected in design and product decisions.
- Investigate advertiser pain points, perceptions of automation and AI, and opportunities to improve campaign experience and ROI.
- Conduct mixed-method studies combining UX, behavioral, and business data to drive holistic product understanding.
- Champion research-driven decision-making and mentor others in methodological best practices.
Minimum Qualifications:
- UX research experience, including work in digital advertising, search monetization, or related business-to-business products.
- Understanding of search, display, or performance-based ad ecosystems and advertiser workflows.
- Proven track record of independent research leadership, influencing complex product ecosystems.
- Expertise in both qualitative and quantitative research methods and the ability to determine appropriate approaches for each project.
- Experience conducting research with advertisers, agencies, or business users in ad tech, martech, or analytics environments.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with AI- or ML-powered systems, especially in automation, personalization, or targeting contexts.
- Skilled in storytelling and stakeholder alignment to drive impact across multidisciplinary teams.
Education:
- Bachelor s degree or equivalent practical experience.
