This includes hardware for user authentication, ingress access, communication, and cabin/occupant monitoring.
In this highly cross-functional role, you will develop requirements, solve complex design problems, create and test prototypes, and coordinate projects to meet critical company milestones.

- Coordinate supplier tooling and production to meet critical vehicle milestones.
- Collaborate with hardware design teams, firmware and software teams, and system operators to iterate on existing designs and develop future solutions.
- Conduct root cause analysis during the development, validation, build, and deployment phases for issue resolution.
- Support the development and execution of system and component-level validation test plans.
- Work with manufacturing and quality engineers to mature components and support vehicle build, bring-up, and test activities.
- Bachelor s degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering (or equivalent).
- 5 10 years of experience in electrical component/system design and troubleshooting.
- Experience taking a part or assembly from concept through production, working with external suppliers, and managing deliverables for multiple projects.
- Automotive (CAN bus, automotive Ethernet, A2B, and other automotive networks), aerospace, or other safety-critical industry experience.
- Experience with on-board digital serial interfaces such as SPI, UART, I2C, and I2S.
- Experience with electrical and EMI/C testing.
- Knowledge of automotive functional safety (ISO 26262) standards.
- Firmware / Software experience (management, development, or testing).
- Experience with chassis and/or electromechanical systems.
- Experience with high-speed bus protocols such as PCIe, DisplayPort, and HDMI.
- Proficiency with tools such as Altium, 3DX, Catia V5/V6, or similar.
