Role: Big Data Lead Developer
Job Location:: Raleigh, NC
Fullltime/Permanent
Required Qualifications:
- At least 4 years of Information Technology experience
- 3 +years of experience of building and supporting scalable Big Data applications. Working in a software product development organization building modern and scalable web applications.
- Experience in BigData Technologies and Hadoop.
- In-depth knowledge in Spark, Spark engine, Scala and PySpark programming.
- Experience on BigData querying using Pig, Hive and Impala.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Proficient understanding of distributed computing principles, management of Hadoop clusters with all the included services and Big Data processing technologies. Ability to solve any ongoing issues with operating the cluster
- Strong knowledge of Spark, Scala and PySpark.
- Good knowledge of Big Data querying tools, such as Pig, Hive, and Impala.
- Experience with building stream-processing systems, using solutions such as Storm or Spark-Streaming and integration of data from multiple data sources.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively across multiple business and technical teams
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
