Summary:
- Huntington Bank is looking for an ETL Datastage Developer Lead in Enterprise Technology group. In this role you will be part of a team working to develop solutions enabling the business to leverage data as an asset at the bank. As an ETL Dev Lead, you will develop, maintain, and enhance code ensuring all IT SDLC processes are documented and practiced, working closely with multiple technologies teams across the enterprise. Provides technical and consultative support on the most complex technical matters.
- Key technologies include Python and Datastage.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Translate requirements and data mapping documents to a technical design.
- Develop, enhance and maintain code following best practices and standards.
- Create and execute unit test plans. Support regression and system testing efforts.
- Debug and problem solve issues found during testing and/or production.
- Communicate status, issues and blockers with project team.
- Support continuous improvement by identifying and solving opportunities.
- Analyzes, designs, and develops systems based upon user specifications.
- Provides technical assistance in solving hardware or software problems.
- Possesses an in-depth knowledge of and works with the technical tools available for systems development and support.
- Maintains and demonstrates knowledge of technical industry trends, particularly as they apply to Huntington.
- May assist with identifying training needs or with training of less experienced staff.
- May serve as project leader for specific projects.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree OR 7+ years of related experience or an additional 4 years of related work experience.
- Programming Languages: SQL, Python, PySpark
- ETL Tools : IBM Datastage
- Database : Snowflake, MySql, Oracle, SQL Server
- Workflow Orchestration & Automation : Zena
- Cloud Technologies : Google Cloud Platform
- Data Governance : Infogix

Preferred Qualifications:
- Strong experience in software engineering comprising of designing, developing and operating robust and highly-scalable cloud infrastructure services.
- Strong experience with Python/PySpark, DataStage ETL and SQL development.
- Knowledge of Cybersecurity organization practices, operations, risk management processes, principles, architectural requirements, engineering and threats and vulnerabilities, including incident response methodologies.
- Understand Authentication & Authorization Services, Identity & Access Management.
- Experienced in using ReST APIs.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organization skills and the ability to work independently as well as with a team.
- Experience defining future state roadmaps for data warehouse applications.
- Experience leading teams of developers within a project.
- Experience in financial services (banking) industry.
