Immediate opportunities for Windows Platforms + Surface Expert to join our team working as Customer Engineer (CE s). Positions are full-time salaried roles offering comprehensive benefits. A CE s time is dedicated to working with some of the largest, and most sophisticated companies in the world, usually F1000 companies. CE s work with and assist customers in building, deploying, operating, and optimizing complex enterprise environments. You will be responsible for customer satisfaction, deployment, adoption, and support of Windows Platform and Surface initiatives.
Must have MS Surface Tablet Product Line experience
Location: Remote plus Travel (can be heavy weekly travel within US on a short notice)
Salary Range: $110,000 - $130,000 plus benefits
Primary Work Includes:
- Customer Engagement & Relationship Building - Proactively initiates and maintains customer interactions, establishing trust and credibility as a knowledgeable advisor for Microsoft solutions.
- Team Collaboration - Actively contributes to team discussions and cross-functional initiatives, fostering a collaborative and solution-oriented environment.
- Strategic Inquiry & Project Advancement - Demonstrates initiative by asking thoughtful, clarifying questions that reduce ambiguity, prevent scope expansion, and drive project momentum.
- Accountability & Service Excellence - Takes full ownership of service delivery, ensuring quality, completeness, and a positive customer experience throughout the engagement lifecycle.
The experience you ll need to excel in the role:
Platforms
- Subject matter hands-on expertise and advanced knowledge in the following platform technologies (including but not limited to):
- On-Premises Server Configuration: Setup, maintenance, and optimization of Windows physical server environments.
- Hyper-V Virtualization: Deployment and management of lightweight Hyper-V virtual machines in on-premises environments.
- Networking Fundamentals: Configuration and troubleshooting of network infrastructure including switches, routers, and firewalls.
- DNS and Name Resolution: Implementation and support of domain name resolution services across enterprise environments.
- Wireless Connectivity: Setup and support of Wi-Fi networks, including access point configuration and performance tuning.
Technical Skills
Surface - Strong problem solving, debugging, and troubleshooting skills on Surface Tablets product line.
