Description
A large automotive company is looking for a Embedded Systems Software Engineer to join their team at their labs. This person will be working on cutting edge software-defined vehicle development programs. They are targeting individuals with IoT experience with strong programming skills in C and Python. Rust programming experience is a plus. Also familiarity with Raspberry Pi and Arduino is a plus.
This role must be onsite at least three days a week, but will be onsite even more often than that up to 5 days a week. They will be working hands-on with the actual product that is onsite at the lab.

o Hands-on experience with single-board computers (e.g., Raspberry Pi, BeagleBone) and microcontrollers (e.g., Arduino, STM32).
o Familiarity with Controller Area Network (CAN) technologies and protocols used in automotive and industrial applications.
Lab & Testing Equipment
o Proficient in using multimeters, oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and other lab tools for hardware debugging and signal analysis.
o Skilled in setting up and executing test procedures for embedded systems and electronic components.
Programming Languages
o Experience in C for low-level embedded development.
o Familiarity with Rust for safe and concurrent systems programming.
o Proficient in Python for scripting, automation, and data analysis.

The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $50.00/hr.
