We are looking for enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to help us bring personalized medicine to mainstream healthcare. As a healthcare (dev-opts) software engineer, you will join a dynamic engineering team focused on bioinformatics algorithm development and collaborating with industry and academic partners. You will have the opportunity to design, implement, and maintain the infrastructure and tools that enable fast, secure, and reliable high-performance computing software delivery for a wide range of biology applications used worldwide. You'll work at the intersection of software development and operations to ensure our systems are scalable, automated, and robust.

The base salary range is 148,000 USD - 235,750 USD. Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions.

What you'll be doing:
- Design, build, and manage CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or GitLab CI.
- Work closely with developers to containerize applications using Docker, Singularity and Podman
- Collaborate with the team to containerize applications and manage their lifecycle through Kubernetes.
- Integrate automated documentation workflows into CI pipelines using Sphinx, ensuring up-to-date technical documentation for internal and external consumers.
- Automate repetitive tasks and streamline operational workflows.
- Ensure system and data security through best practices in secrets management, network policies, and access control.
What we need to see:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; advanced degrees are a plus.
- 5+ years in a DevOps, SRE, or Infrastructure Engineering role.
- Proficiency with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud Platform, or Azure).
- Strong experience with Linux systems administration.
- Solid scripting/programming skills (e.g., Bash, Python, or Go).
- Hands-on experience with Docker and container orchestration (Kubernetes preferred).
- Knowledge of modern CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tools.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills, with a dedication to inclusion and collaboration.
Ways To Stand Out from the crowd:
- Solid understanding of C/C++, CUDA, data structure, altorighm, software design, and programming techniques.
- Deep learning experience in using, LLM, Graph Neural Network, Graph Transformer Network.
- Strong collaborative and interpersonal skills to effectively guide and influence within a multifaceted, technical environment.
- Self-motivation to automate repetitive tasks, streamline workflows, and reduce friction for others across the engineering team.
