Crew software engineering associates use a variety of technologies in Agile and lean startup methodologies to automate manual processes, create microsites, learn new technologies, and everything in between.

Responsibilities:

Data and Reporting

Assist in tracking product KPIs, OKRs, and delivery milestones

Maintain and update roadmaps, backlog health reports, and status trackers (Aha! preferred; Productboard/Aha!/Jira alignment a plus)

Prepare weekly/monthly reports for product leadership using tools like Excel, Tableau, or Power BI

Provide visibility into product backlog health and trends; highlight risks and dependencies

Process Support and Governance

Help coordinate roadmap updates, release readiness checklists, and retrospectives; capture and track cross-team improvement plans

Support intake and prioritization processes by gathering business requests and documenting requirements

Maintain product documentation repositories and enforce documentation standards (templates, naming conventions, version control)

Support a basic Product Operations setup including process definition, RACI enforcement, and meeting/ceremony hygiene

Ensure the product vision is decomposed into actionable epics and user stories that can be refined into the product backlog

Tool Administration

Provide basic support for product management tools (e.g., Jira, Aha!, Confluence)

Ensure consistent use of templates, workflows, and naming conventions across teams

Assist with portfolio communications and dashboards; promote governance models and tracking aligned to the Product Strategist's vision

Product Design and Development Standards

Support processes and standards for authoring high-quality user stories and acceptance criteria

Partner with product design, engineering, sales, marketing, and support to ensure business case, delivery readiness, and customer satisfaction goals are met

Support cross-capability/product coordination to manage dependencies and release alignment

Communication and Collaboration

Assist in preparing portfolio communications and stakeholder updates

Document meeting notes, decisions, action items, and follow-ups; ensure timely closure

Coordinate logistics for cross-functional planning sessions and ceremonies

Qualifications

1-3 years of experience in business operations, product management support, business analysis, or a related field (internships count)

Basic understanding of Agile product development concepts (Scrum/Kanban) and backlog refinement

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail; comfortable managing multiple tasks and deadlines

Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets; familiarity with visualization tools (Tableau/Power BI) a plus

Comfort learning and supporting tools like Jira, Aha! (preferred), Confluence, and Product board

Looking for domain knowledge in health care, Medicaid(preferred)

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Bachelor's degree in Business, Analytics, Information Systems, or related field preferred

Organized: Manages multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment; maintains clean documentation and RACI visibility

Analytical: Comfortable working with numbers and spotting trends in KPIs, backlog health, and delivery metrics

Curious: Eager to learn product operations, governance models, and product tooling

Collaborative: Works well with peers, PMs, designers, engineers, and go-to-market teams

Adaptable: Comfortable with changing priorities and learning new processes and tools

The salary range for this role is $62,000 to $85,000 or the hourly equivalent.
