Qualifications and Education Requirements
Education:
oBachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
oOR equivalent combination of education and experience
Experience:
oMinimum of 5 years of experience in a Quality Assurance or Software Testing role
Technical Proficiency:
oStrong programming skills in C# or Java
oFamiliarity with .NET framework/.NET Core
oExperience testing all layers of web applications (front-end, service layer, back-end)
oProficient with relational databases such as SQL Server, MySQL, or PostgreSQL
oAbility to write efficient SQL queries and stored procedures
oExperience with CI tools such as Jenkins for automation and manual testing infrastructure
oFamiliarity with cloud platforms (Azure or AWS)
oSolid understanding of software development principles, design patterns, and testing strategies
oKnowledge of Risk Management and Risk Analysis
Required Skills and Experience
Testing Expertise:
oProficient in API testing, regression, UAT, manual, and automated testing
oDesign, manage, and maintain an automation test framework
oExperience executing test cases and logging/tracking bugs using test management tools
oUtilize Ranorex for test automation
oGenerate detailed test reports and track test plans using SpiraTeam
oPerform load and performance testing, with ability to analyze results and identify root causes
Development and Automation:
oDevelop and maintain reusable automation libraries and scripts
oCollaborate with DevOps engineers to automate deployment and support CI/CD pipelines
oImplement branching strategies and handle merge conflicts using TortoiseGit
oConduct pull requests and perform code reviews
oExperience with version control tools and automation integration
Process and Collaboration:
oCollaborate with end-users and stakeholders to resolve issues and gather enhancement requests
oWork with Agile methodologies including Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment
oDocument findings, strategies, and procedures on Azure DevOps Wiki
oCommunicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders
oContribute to release management and troubleshooting support
Responsibilities
Collaborate with Business and Technical teams to ensure the successful deployment of fully tested software
Support and maintain the new ecosystem of business license management applications during and after implementation
Collect and report quality metrics from test executions
Support Engineering, Release Management, and Customer Support in diagnosing and resolving issues
Write technical documentation identifying any technical deficiencies
Lead and contribute to automation planning and test strategy execution
