Data Analyst

  We are seeking an experienced Data Analyst to join our team for a major initiative aimed at modernizing Finance applications linked to our Corporate Data Warehouse.
  
  


• 
  
  This role involves identifying critical system dependencies and assisting in updating outdated data platforms and workflows. Ideal candidates will have strong analytical skills, experience with large-scale enterprise systems, and a background in data mapping, ETL, and data warehousing.
  
  

• 
  
  Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify dependencies between applications and systems on the current CDW platform.
  
  


• 
  
  Analyze and interpret Business Requirement Specifications (BRS) and ETL code to align with modernization objectives.
  
  


• 
  
  Work with stakeholders to define data requirements for Finance and Accounting systems.
  
  


• 
  
  Create detailed mapping documents outlining data flows, transformations, and system interactions.
  
  


• 
  
  Develop and validate complex SQL queries to support data analysis and migration efforts.
  
  


• 
  
  Assist in mapping source to target tables/columns and define derivation logic as part of the modernization process.
  
  


• 
  
  Ensure comprehensive documentation and traceability of all data lineage and mapping activities.
  
  

• 
  
  Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  
  

• 
  
  Minimum of 5+ years of experience in data analysis, data warehousing, or related fields.
  
  


• 
  
  Strong understanding of ETL processes with the ability to read and interpret ETL code.
  
  


• 
  
  Practical experience or familiarity with tools such as DataStage, Informatica, SAS, and Python.
  
  


• 
  
  Expertise in complex SQL for data analysis, validation, and script development.
  
  


• 
  
  Strong understanding of enterprise-scale systems and data environments, with the ability to create data mapping documents.
  
  


• 
  
  Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
  
  


• 
  
  Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
