Summary:

A Software Developer is responsible for designing, coding, testing, and maintaining software applications across multiple platforms. They transform business requirements into technical solutions while ensuring performance, scalability, and security. The role requires strong problem-solving skills and collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop, test, and maintain software applications according to specifications.
2. Translate functional requirements into efficient, reusable code.
3. Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve software issues.
4. Collaborate with QA teams to ensure application quality.
5. Maintain comprehensive documentation of software designs, code changes, and application functionality.
6. Participate in design and code reviews to enforce coding standards.
7. Optimize application performance and scalability.
8. Ensure software security best practices are implemented.
9. Stay updated with emerging technologies and integrate them as needed.
10. Mentor junior developers and support team knowledge sharing.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 2-5 years of software development experience.
• Proficiency in Java, Python, C#, or JavaScript.
• Experience with relational and non-relational databases.

Preferred Skills/Duties:

• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform).
• Experience with Agile or Scrum methodologies.
• Knowledge of microservices architecture and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
• Experience with version control systems (Git, SVN).
