Job Summary
As a Business Intelligence Architect, you will design, develop, and lead the implementation of advanced reporting and dashboard solutions using cutting-edge tools such as ThoughtSpot Embed, IBM Cognos Analytics, and Cloud Data Warehousing. You will also collaborate with stakeholders to ensure solutions meet business requirements effectively.
Mandatory Skills
- ThoughtSpot Embed & SDK: Deep expertise in embedding ThoughtSpot using REST APIs and Visual Embed SDK.
- IBM Cognos Analytics: Minimum 7+ years of experience in IBM Cognos Analytics, including Framework Manager, Report Studio, Dashboarding, and Analysis Studio.
- SQL & Database Technologies: Strong proficiency in SQL with experience in Cloud Data Warehousing technologies like Snowflake.
- Data Visualization: Hands-on experience in creating and maintaining interactive dashboards and reports.
- Data Warehousing & Modeling: Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts and dimensional modeling.
- Power BI & ThoughtSpot SaaS: Proficiency in Power BI and ThoughtSpot SaaS.
- Technical Proficiency: Strong knowledge of front-end JavaScript and CSS.
- Certifications: Certifications in ThoughtSpot and IBM Cognos.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with React.js.
- Analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to communicate technical concepts effectively to non-technical stakeholders.
Job Responsibilities
- Architect and deliver complex BI solutions tailored to client requirements.
- Administer the ThoughtSpot cluster from a Data Admin perspective.
- Design BI solutions leveraging data from Cloud warehouses like Snowflake.
- Write and maintain advanced SQL queries.
- Develop and maintain architectural blueprints and technical documentation.
- Implement data security and role-based access controls.
- Conduct performance tuning for ThoughtSpot and Cognos environments.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to provide data-driven insights.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex BI issues.
- Oversee Cognos environment upgrades and migrations.
