The Impact You Will Have
A BSA/UAT Lead is responsible for supporting technical and business documentation and overseeing the User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for capabilities related to prior authorization interoperability. They support the product team in ensuring business needs are captured in business requirements documentation. They partner with the QA team and lead UAT testing efforts, track progress, and manage defects with the QA and technical team members. This role requires strong leadership, communication, and technical skills, as well as a deep understanding of the software development lifecycle and UAT processes.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Working with stakeholders to understand their needs and translating them into clear, concise requirements for software or system development. Developing detailed documentation that outlines how software or systems should function to meet business requirements.
  • Developing the overall UAT strategy, including test plans, scenarios, and scripts. Leading and coordinating testing activities, ensuring timely completion of testing within the project timeline.
  • Identifying, tracking, and escalating defects, working with developers to ensure timely resolution.
  • Collaborating with business stakeholders, IT teams, and other relevant parties to facilitate testing and address issues.
  • Providing regular updates on testing progress, risks, and issues to stakeholders.
  • Guiding and mentoring the UAT team, ensuring they have the necessary resources and support.

  • The ability to analyze complex problems, identify patterns, and develop logical solutions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills: Ability to effectively communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills: Ability to analyze requirements, identify defects, and develop effective test strategies.
  • Proficiency in test management tools: Familiarity with tools like JIRA, TestRail, or HP ALM for test case management and defect tracking.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies: Understanding of Agile principles and the ability to work effectively within an Agile development environment.
  • Technical knowledge: Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and basic technical concepts.
  • Leadership and mentoring skills: Ability to lead and motivate a team of testers.
