RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking an AVEVA PI Solution Architect in Armonk, NY.
Responsibilities:
* Review the technical architecture of the current Corporate PI implementation and work with the project team to suggest and define any changes or improvements, based on the current and future state business requirements and needs
* Formulate and define improvements to the technical architecture and compute resources, from an efficiency and cost perspective, meeting the current and future state business requirements and needs
* Review the processes in place for the management and administration of the Corporate PI system and define improvement activities or opportunities that exist, based on the current and future state business requirements and needs
* Understand the current use of the Corporate PI system and whether the existing deployment and processes in place are fit for purpose; Define any gaps and associated practical recommendations as required
* Based on the understanding of the current and future state system and business needs, provide input into whether there are any other areas of improvement or opportunities that could be leveraged from more effective use of the PI system and its native functionality (e.g. with AF, Vision, etc.)
* Based on future state use cases and business needs, provide input into the suitability of the Corporate PI system and whether an alternate approach should be considered (e.g. augment existing solution or replace components of the solution, etc.)
* Based on all the above, provide defined recommendations and practical next steps for the solution in place (e.g. solution and technical architecture, processes, governance, management, administration)
REQUIREMENTS:
* To be considered for this position, candidates must have experience in a similar role, or they must possess significant knowledge, experience, and abilities to successfully perform the responsibilities listed
* Relevant education and/or training will be considered a plus
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
Note: Pay is not considered compensation until it is earned, vested and determinable. The amount and availability of any compensation remains in Kforce's sole discretion unless and until paid and may be modified in its discretion consistent with the law.
