EMPLOYER: Optum Services, Inc.
JOB TITLE: Senior Software Engineer
LOCATION: 1 Optum Circle, Eden Prairie, MN 55344 (Telecommuting available from anywhere in the U.S.)
DUTIES: Research, design, and develop computer and network software or specialized utility programs. Duties to include develop software applications using Angular 16 and JavaScript libraries like NGX Bootstrap, NGX Swimlane data table, NGX Mask; create Typescript reusable components and services to consume REST API's using Component-based architecture provided by Angular 16; involved in writing the front-end code for the application using Angular 16; Perform all phases of software engineering including requirements analysis, application design, code development and testing. create forms to collect and validate data from the user in HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap JavaScript, and Typescript; extensively use Angular 16 forms like Template Driven forms and Reactive forms (Dynamic Forms) to perform form validations on the server and client sides; develop the UI panels using JSF, XHTML, CSS, DOJO, and JQuery; write unit tests using Jasmine and Karma from the client-side and analyzed code coverage; use AJAX, JSON to send a request to the server to check the websites' functionality; create browser compatibility web pages using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and JQuery; fetch data from Web services using JQUERY, AJAX via JSON response, and updating the HTML pages; validate the 508 Compliance and test Microsoft Internet Explorer using the JAWS tool; involved in creating UI components using CSS, DOJO, and jQuery; Analyze requirements and implement software solutions ;utilize different developer tools respective to the browser to debug the code; create prototypes before development based on static and approved design documents and wireframes; Review code and approve code merges, providing technical guidance and develop SQL Server database queries, views, and stored procedures. Telecommuting available from anywhere in the U.S.
REQUIREMENTS: Employer will accept a Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field and one (1) year of experience in the job offered or in an Engineering-related occupation.
Position requires one (1) year of experience in the following:
* Angular 16;
* Node Package Manager;
* TypeScript;
* REST API;
* Bootstrap;
* Jasmine and Karma;
* SQL;
* Agile; and
* GitHub.
RATE OF PAY: $106,579 - $145,000 / per year
