Job Details

Job Summary: The Data Analyst will work to provide data services, governance, architecture, and visualization solutions for the Field Operations team. This includes data ingestion and reporting for product performance, consumer digital shopping and ownership, field performance and modeling solutions for marketing and executive reporting.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Handle the data wrangling and ingestion of data sources from multiple parties into analytics platforms.
  • Devise business rules for data acceptance, translation, and mapping.
  • Transform data feeds into reliable and easily updatable data extracts for use in reporting and modeling.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to build and upgrade reports by leveraging analytics tools.
  • Identify data relationships and develop solutions in various data blending tools.
  • Identify and supply proper data sets, write required rules, and extract data sets for use by team members and partners.
  • Prioritize requests from multiple stakeholders, create project plans, determine level of effort, and maintain milestones.
  • Coordinate communication with internal teams.

Minimum Qualifications and Job Requirements:

  • Working in analytics, research, business intelligence or IT (5+ years).
  • Data engineering within digital marketing/advertising, automotive preferred (5+ years).
  • Automating routine data tasks using various software tools.
  • Creating data visualizations, dashboards, executive reports, or models.

Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities:

  • High proficiency in MS Excel, Alteryx or SQL for data manipulation and translation.
  • Proficiency in Business Intelligence tools: Domo, Datorama, Tableau, or Qlikview.
  • Familiarity with APIs, RSS feeds and web services.
  • Proactively problem-solve and multitask while maintaining composure and attention to detail.
  • Follow-through mindset to uphold a 'close the loop' culture.
  • A positive approach to serving customers and providing exceptional customer service.
  • Ability to demonstrate good judgment, high ethics, and project a professional image.
  • Ability to work independently and as a collaborative team member with a positive 'can do' attitude.
  • The drive to identify and seize opportunities for continuous improvement as business needs change.
  • Excellent organization, flexibility and time management skills and the ability to work in a dynamic, deadline-driven environment.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and business communication skills (written, verbal, listening).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
