RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce is immediately seeking an experienced Senior Nifi Platform Engineer in support of our enterprise telecommunications and mass media client based in Greenwood Village, CO. We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Platform Engineer specializing in Apache NiFi administration and Linux systems. This role involves designing, deploying, and maintaining robust data flow solutions and ensuring operational stability across our platform infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
* Administer, configure, and optimize Apache NiFi clusters for high availability and performance
* Design and implement secure, scalable data flows across diverse data sources
* Manage Linux servers, ensuring system health, security, and efficiency
* Develop automation scripts for deployment, monitoring, and maintenance tasks
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support data-driven initiatives
* Troubleshoot and resolve complex system issues related to NiFi and Linux environments
REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
* 5+ years of experience in platform engineering or systems administration
* Expertise in Apache NiFi administration and data flow management
* Proficiency in Linux system administration (RedHat, Ubuntu, etc.)
* Strong scripting skills (Bash, Python) and automation experience
* Familiarity with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana) and CI/CD pipelines
* Excellent problem-solving abilities and communication skills
Preferred Skills:
* Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform)
* Knowledge of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
* Understanding of security best practices in data flow management
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
