Job Description 
The Automation Developer will be responsible for assisting in efforts to leverage RPA and Power Automate tools and the knowledge of current internal processes to create process efficiencies that enhance operational productivity and increase user satisfaction by expediting turn times of work being performed.
 
This position will work proactively to improve performance across Business Units by working with subject matter experts from the business as well as other Automation Business Analysts in IT to define potential user stories across all of lines of business for bots to perform. The person must be an innovative, forward-thinking problem solver. They must be capable of scoping, designing, developing, deploying, testing, and monitoring automated process and flows 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Responsible for scoping, designing, developing, deploying, testing, and monitoring Power Automate Flow and Robotic Process Automations processes
  • Responsible for collaborating and communicating effectively with various stakeholders to clarify user stories to ascertain whether they are good automation candidates
  • Responsible for collaborating and communicating with others on the automation team, including other developers and business analyst, to work through requirements plausibility for the bots
  • Responsible for solution designs leveraging best practices including Robotic Enterprise Framework and queues
  • Responsible for troubleshooting and resolving issues in deployed bots or automated flows
  • Must be able to work after-hours during certain periods of the release cycle (such as hyper care after initial production deployment)  
Education/Experience Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field. An equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
  • Two (2) or more years of relevant experience.
  • Experience with:
  • Ui Path’s Robotic Enterprise Framework and queues
  • Microsoft Power Automate process automation platform

Scope:
Primary Focus is on daily deliverables, outputs and reporting.  Accountable for managing one's own time and workflow and leads projects and/or large project steps.  Work is complex in nature requiring the incumbent to draw on previous knowledge to perform role. Acts independently the majority of the time, requiring guidance in only complex situations. Has well established capabilities, acts as a resource to less experienced staff on moderately complex issues.

Decision Impact:
Problems and issues faced are vague and require analysis of multiple sources of information for solution.  Draws on significant experience to perform role.  Accountable for direct level of reasoning and decision making.
