Candidate Skills and Qualifications

- 8 years required: Progressively responsible experience performing systems analysis design on business applications software.
- 8 years required: Experience in design and development of multi-tier applications in Java/J2EE technology (Java design patterns, MVC, JSP, JavaBeans, Servlets, etc.), Spring/Springboot framework.
- 8 years required: Experienced with designing SOA-based architecture. Working knowledge of XML, HTML, WSDL, Javascript, AJAX, JSF, JQuery, NodeJS.
- 5 years required: Advanced scripting skills.
- 5 years required: Experience in Bash, Python scripting.
- 5 years required: Manage development work pipeline for application portfolio (daily scrums, PM coordination, etc.).
- 5 years required: Experience with SVN, GitHub, JIRA.
- 4 years required: Education - Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with major in computer science, computer information systems, management information systems, or a related field.
- 4 years required: Experience with TxDMV custom-built applications for vehicle registration and titling.
- 4 years required: Technical lead overseeing application ecosystem. Recommending and leading modernization and optimization efforts.
- 2 years preferred: Experience in Maxenso.
- 2 years preferred: Working knowledge of Natural/COBOL.
- 2 years preferred: Working knowledge of Linux.
- 2 years preferred: Experience working with DB2 databases.
- 2 years preferred: Working knowledge of JCL.
