Job Overview:
The Software Engineer Senior will play a critical role in the development and enhancement of the Data-Navigator application, a back-office transaction management component of the Enterprise Payments platform. This dynamic product supports banks, processors, issuers, acquirers, and retail lines of business globally, providing a real-time enterprise-wide view of transactions and consumer interactions. The role involves working in a collaborative SAFe environment to deliver robust and scalable solutions for the growing Fintech market.

Responsibilities:
  • Analyze, design, program, debug, and modify software enhancements and/or new products.
  • Interact with product managers and/or users to define system requirements and necessary modifications.
  • Participate in software design meetings and analyze user needs to determine technical requirements.
  • Write technical specifications based on conceptual design and stated business requirements.
  • Write code, complete development tasks, and perform testing and debugging of applications using current programming languages and technologies.
  • Contribute to the modernization of applications with cloud technologies.
  • Complete documentation and procedures for installation and maintenance.
  • Train and communicate with internal teams on systems applications.
  • Deliver informational and decision-seeking presentations to technical and business groups.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or Information Systems (preferred).
  • 3 to 5 years of IT experience with programming languages such as C/C++, UNIX, and Oracle.
  • Strong design and programming knowledge in Unix/Linux environments.
  • Knowledge of RDBMS/SQL such as Oracle and DB2.
  • Experience with SAFe/Agile methodology.
  • Excellent customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience in the banking or financial services industry is an advantage.
  • Knowledge of PCI/PADSS standards.
  • Familiarity with build tools like Bit Bucket and GIT.
  • Proficiency in Python and Java is a plus.

  • Knowledge of financial services industry and end-to-end systems development life cycles.
  • Understanding of design patterns and their application.
  • Proficiency in solutions design and requirements definition disciplines.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong analytical, decision-making, and time management skills.
  • Ability to estimate work effort and ensure project completion.
  • Positive outlook and strong work ethic.
  • Willingness to mentor and coach others.

Pay Range: $50 - $65/hour on W2
