Job Details
We are seeking a highly skilled ETL Developer and Offshore Lead to join our team supporting enterprise-scale Risk Management Systems. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing daily support and project-based development activities, ensuring the smooth functioning of ETL pipelines and data integration workflows across heterogeneous data systems. This role involves both hands-on development and coordination with offshore teams to deliver high-quality solutions in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain ETL/ELT processes for data ingestion and transformation from multiple data sources.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to offshore development teams, ensuring timely project delivery.
- Support daily operations of risk management systems, including issue resolution and performance optimization.
- Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into scalable solutions.
- Develop and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and scripts for data extraction and analysis.
- Ensure compliance with data governance and security standards.
- Maintain detailed documentation and contribute to continuous process improvements.
- Manage job scheduling and automation using tools such as Tidal or equivalent schedulers.
- Support release management and change control processes through Git, Jira, and Confluence.
Required Technical Skills
- 5+ years of overall IT experience, with 2+ years in financial projects (preferably in Market Risk or related domains).
- Strong SQL and database programming expertise (MS SQL Server preferred).
- Solid understanding of ETL/ELT and Data Warehouse (DWH) concepts.
- Hands-on experience with ETL/ELT tools such as SSIS.
- Proficiency with Python, Azure Data Factory (ADF), Databricks, and Snowflake DB.
- Experience with Job Scheduling/Automation tools (Tidal experience is a plus).
- Familiarity with Git, Jira, and Confluence for version control and project tracking.
- Strong testing, debugging, and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent communication and team coordination abilities to work effectively with offshore teams.
Education
- Bachelor s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- A degree in Finance or equivalent experience in financial domain projects (Market Risk preferred) is an advantage.
Preferred Qualifications
- Exposure to Risk Management or Banking/Financial Services domains.
- Experience working in Agile or Scrum development environments.
- Ability to lead and mentor team members across different geographies.
