Salesforce Developer

About the Role:

As a Salesforce Developer, you will work with a talented engineering team to help design, implement, and support a diverse suite of platform features. You will develop server-side code and APIs to integrate multiple systems built on various technologies. You will also be responsible for creating client-facing front-end solutions used by internal stakeholders and end users. This role requires close coordination and collaboration with cross-functional teams, including development, product, and account management.

Job Responsibilities:

• Executes Salesforce development initiatives by designing and building server-side Apex code to integrate multiple operational systems and enhance core business functionalities.
• Designs, develops, and documents scalable APIs for use by internal teams and external partners, ensuring efficient system-to-system communication.
• Develops high-quality Salesforce client-side UI components using Visualforce, JavaScript, and modern frameworks such as Angular and React.
• Works in a fast-paced Agile environment with continuous development cycles and tight integration timelines.
• Collaborates closely with Product Managers and cross-functional team members on a daily basis to deliver solutions aligned with business goals.
• Actively participates in product discussions, code reviews, and architectural design sessions to ensure high engineering standards.
• Analyzes and validates data to ensure accuracy, effectiveness, and reliability of system integrations.
• Manages internal Salesforce instances and metadata, including SObjects, permissions, page layouts, and configuration elements.

Required Qualifications:

• Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts with 3+ years of hands-on Salesforce development experience, including Visualforce, Apex, SOQL, SOSL, HTML, CSS, JavaScript (jQuery), and core SFDC components.
• At least 3 years of experience in modern programming languages such as Java, .NET, and/or Python.
• Strong ability to leverage standard Salesforce features while also building custom solutions using the platform’s framework.
• Experience with Salesforce automation and deployment tools such as SFDX and Ant, with knowledge of CI/CD practices.
• Experience working with relational and/or document databases (SQL or NoSQL).
• Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), Agile methodologies, and best engineering practices.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively in collaborative, cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience designing and developing REST APIs and working with TypeScript, Angular, or React.
• Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker/Kubernetes and event streaming platforms like Kafka.
• Experience working on public cloud platforms such as Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform), Azure, or AWS.
