Job Details

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Deep knowledge of WCAG 2.1 A and AA standards, assistive technologies, and digital accessibility tools.
  • Experience in manual and automated testing of digital assets for accessibility.
  • Ability to remediate complex documents and provide guidance on accessible document creation.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proven ability to educate and train others on accessibility tools, policies, and standards.
  • Familiarity with tools such as axe, WAVE, NVDA, JAWS, VoiceOver, etc.
  • Experience in policy development, digital accessibility strategy, and change management is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • IAAP Certification (e.g., CPACC, WAS) or willingness to obtain.
  • Background in UX, web development, content strategy, or related fields.
  • Knowledge of Section 508 compliance and Massachusetts digital accessibility laws and guidelines.
