Description
We are looking for a skilled Desktop Support Analyst to join our team in Atlanta, Georgia. In this role, you will provide technical assistance and support across multiple locations within Fulton County, ensuring smooth operations and resolving IT-related issues. This is a Contract-to-permanent opportunity within the local government sector, offering an excellent chance to contribute to public services while developing your career.
Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive desktop support across multiple locations, addressing hardware and software issues to maintain operational efficiency.
Configure, troubleshoot, and maintain computer systems, including Apple devices, Dell technologies, and other hardware.
Manage and support Active Directory environments, ensuring secure and efficient user access.
Utilize Cisco and Citrix technologies to support network and remote access solutions.
Implement and oversee backup technologies to safeguard data and ensure recovery capabilities.
Perform configuration management tasks to ensure systems are properly set up and maintained.
Collaborate with team members to resolve complex technical issues and deliver timely solutions.
Conduct routine system checks and provide proactive maintenance to prevent disruptions.
Document technical processes and solutions for reference and training purposes.
Support database-related tasks, ensuring data integrity and accessibility.
Requirements
Proven experience in desktop support, with expertise in resolving hardware and software issues.
Proficiency in managing Active Directory environments, including user account administration.
Strong knowledge of Cisco and Citrix technologies for network and remote access support.
Familiarity with Apple devices and Dell technologies, including troubleshooting and configuration.
Experience with backup technologies and data recovery processes.
Skill in configuration management to ensure optimal system performance.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication and documentation skills to clearly convey technical information.
