Job Details
ArcGIS & DevOps Consultant
Location: Denver, CO. ONSITE
* Strong expertise with ESRI ArcGIS Enterprise (Server, Portal, Data Store, Web Adaptor) in both on-premises and cloud environments.
* Lead the migration of on-premises ESRI ArcGIS Enterprise environments to AWS, including assessment, planning, execution, and optimization.
* Design and deploy secure, scalable ArcGIS Enterprise solutions on AWS (EC2, RDS, S3, EFS, VPC, IAM, CloudWatch, etc.).
* Modernize existing infrastructure by leveraging cloud-native architectures, automation, and infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, CloudFormation).
* Collaborate with GIS teams to ensure smooth transition of services, maps, and data to the cloud.
* Implement monitoring, performance tuning, and cost-optimization strategies for ArcGIS in AWS.
* Ensure compliance with security, governance, and disaster recovery standards throughout the migration and ongoing operations.
* Troubleshoot and resolve complex cloud and application issues across infrastructure and platform layers.
* Participate in an on-call rotation to provide support for critical ArcGIS Enterprise and team-supported platform issues.
* Mentor junior engineers and promote best practices for cloud adoption and platform engineering.
