We are seeking a highly skilled, experienced, and dynamic Injection Molding Process Engineer to join our innovative Manufacturing team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a talented professional to make a significant impact by optimizing our manufacturing processes and driving operational excellence. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining optimal, cost-effective manufacturing processes and methods in accordance with product specifications and quality standards. Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement process improvements to reduce costs and cycles.
  • Design and develop new processes for injection molding and automation.
  • Manage molding projects from concept through to completion.
  • Analyze manufacturing process flows continually for the enhancements of quality, cost reduction, and throughput.
  • Collaborate with design teams to ensure manufacturability of the product.
  • Provide technical expertise and training to other team members.
  • Develop and implement process control techniques and procedures into manufacturing environments.
  • Analyze and plan workflow, equipment placement, and space requirements to maximize efficiency.
  • Evaluate and recommend appropriate new tooling and fixtures to achieve process improvements.
  • Ensure all manufacturing safety regulatory policies and procedures are implemented and maintained at all times.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in process engineering, with a focus on injection molding.
  • Proven experience with geometric tolerancing, automation, and plastics.
  • Demonstrated ability to design processes and layouts for injection molding operations.
  • Proficient in the use of CAD or other 3D design software.
  • Strong knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven project management skills with the ability to lead projects to successful completion.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume manufacturing environment.
  • Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles is a plus.
