Job Description:

- We are looking for a visionary Cloud & Infrastructure Architect who has a passion for shaping the future of cloud platforms, security, and networking technologies, and who possesses a deep understanding of telecommunication engineering.
- You will be responsible for architecting both on-premises and cloud-based infrastructure solutions that drive large-scale enterprise solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Design & Architect: Lead the design, development, and implementation of complex cloud and on-prem infrastructure for large-scale enterprise environments, with a particular focus on telecommunications.
Innovation & Vision:
- Provide forward-thinking leadership by keeping a finger on the pulse of emerging cloud technologies, security models, and network advancements.
- Drive the adoption of next-gen technologies and best practices to build scalable, reliable, and secure cloud platforms.
Future Industry Trends:
- Analyse industry trends and predict future developments in cloud platforms, cloud security, networking, and telecommunication solutions.
- Recommend and implement strategies to future-proof infrastructure.
Leadership:
- Driving roadmaps and solutions with the team and get it executed, managing technical and leadership stakeholders.
- End to end accountability and ownership including driving Monthly and Quarterly Business Reviews with C-level executives and executive level metrics and reporting.
Customer Satisfaction:
- Proactive and self-driven individual who will work with customers (business and domain teams) ensuring highest level of CSAT scores for the shared cloud services.
Collaboration:
- Work closely with engineering, security, and product teams to integrate cloud services, networking, and security solutions into a unified architecture that supports enterprise-grade solutions.
Telecommunications Engineering:
- Design cloud infrastructure and solutions tailored for telecommunication engineering environments.
- Ensure seamless integration with telecom networks, data flow, and real-time communications platforms.
Cloud Security:
- Architect highly secure cloud environments, focusing on data protection, compliance, identity, and access management for enterprise clients.
Optimize & Scale:
- Ensure infrastructure is scalable and highly available, optimizing resource use while maintaining security, cost-efficiency, and operational effectiveness.
Client Engagement:
- Engage with senior leadership and clients to understand business requirements, offer technical expertise, and guide the development of cloud infrastructure solutions.
Mentorship:
- Lead and mentor junior architects and technical staff, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
Qualifications:
Experience:
- Minimum of 10-12 years of experience in architecting cloud and on-prem infrastructure solutions for large enterprises, including at least 3-5 years focusing on telecommunications engineering.
Cloud Expertise:
- Strong proficiency in major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform) and hands-on experience in designing and building cloud infrastructures for enterprise-scale applications.
Telecommunication Engineering Knowledge:
- Expertise in cloud-based solutions for telecom networks, VoIP, 5G, and real-time communication platforms.
Future Trends:
- Deep knowledge of the future of cloud technologies, networking advancements (like SDN and 5G), cloud security (including Zero Trust and encryption), and automation.
Security:
- In-depth understanding of cloud security practices, compliance requirements (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA), and experience implementing security best practices across cloud platforms.
Network Engineering:
- Expertise in advanced networking technologies, including VPNs, SD-WAN, and edge computing.
Leadership:
- Strong leadership skills, with experience in strategic planning, team management, and collaboration with cross-functional teams.
Certifications:
- Relevant certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Azure Architect, Google Cloud Professional Architect, or related credentials are highly desired.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with telecommunications protocols and architectures.
- Knowledge of cloud-native application development and containerization (e.g., Kubernetes, Docker).
- Experience with cloud orchestration, automation, and DevOps practices.
- A passion for innovative technology and an ability to adapt and embrace new solutions rapidly.
