Job Details
Position: Senior Tableau Developer & Administrator
Type: Contract (W2)
Responsibilities :
- Oversee daily administration and maintenance of Tableau Cloud, ensuring optimal performance and user access.
- Monitor, troubleshoot and resolve errors in Tableau Prep flows and extract refresh schedules.
- Design, develop, and enhance interactive Tableau dashboards using Tableau Desktop.
- Collaborate with business units and data engineering to gather requirements and translate them into data models and visualizations.
- Implement and maintain business KPIs and data transformation logic in Snowflake and Tableau.
- Apply business rules and data transformations using Snowflake and Tableau Prep.
- Lead meetings with business and technical stakeholders, keeping discussions on track and aligned with project objectives.
- Communicate clearly and effectively with senior leadership regarding project status, and technical recommendations.
- Mentor and provide guidance to junior Tableau and data resources as needed.
Qualifications:
- 10-12 years of experience in data visualization and business intelligence.
- Proven experience with Tableau Cloud administration and Tableau Desktop development.
- Strong proficiency in SQL for data transformation and analysis.
- 3+ years of experience working with Snowflake data warehousing.
- Ability to independently manage tasks and timelines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong collaboration skills with the ability to lead and support junior team members.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification: Tableau Desktop Qualified Associate.
- Experience with both Snowflake and SQL Server environments.
- Exposure to enterprise-scale BI deployments and best practices.
