What will you be doing?

This is a hands-on administrative role, which is also expected to contribute to the strategic planning and technical day-to-day escalation activities of the team for EBS applications running in WWT data centers, and Oracle Cloud Fusion modules located in Oracle s Cloud SaaS platform. The candidate will function as a subject matter expert for the ERP team, providing input and technical direction for Oracle EBS R12.2/Oracle Cloud Fusion products. The successful candidate must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment at a strategic level, as well as balancing day to day hands-on technical activities.

• Maintaining technical relevance on Oracle E-Business Suite and Cloud Fusion products over their product release lifecycles
• Troubleshooting complex functional and technical incidents occurring within the various applications
• Perform production level support, and be part of the 24x7 on-call rotation per published schedule
• Familiarity with Oracle Exadata and OCI platforms
• Manage and maintain Oracle EBS environments.
• Maintaining and improving end-to-end monitoring of the platforms for both performance and availability
• Maintaining technical documentation that supports the various systems
• Identifying and collecting key performance metrics (KPIs) to help the DBA team better understand its product and how it relates to its customers and stakeholders experience.

• Establishing and maintaining good working relationships with vendors
• Working with project teams as required to design technical solutions to address project requirements
• Managing and balancing conflicting internal customer needs on the ERP systems.
• Guiding the work of more junior administrators to assist in accomplishing tasks
• Ability to work with team members located in multiple geographies and time zones.
• Being able to objectively look at problems and create innovative solutions on your own through automation and outside the box thinking
• Becoming a trusted advisor to business stakeholders our team supports
• Consistently demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the capability to present on topics that mentor others.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor s degree related to Computer Science/Information Systems is preferred OR equivalent working experience administering Oracle eBusiness Suite
• Minimum of 6 years of Oracle EBS 12.2 administration experience
• Fusion Cloud experience
• Familiarity with the principles, methods, and techniques used in ERP systems administration and ability to use relevant hardware and software.

Preferred Qualifications:

Candidates with these desired skills will be given preferential consideration:

• Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Math, Statistics or Engineering
• Oracle high availability (RAC, DataGuard)
• Oracle Fusion Applications (ERP, GTM, EPM)
• Oracle E-Business Suite (R12.2+)
• 19c RAC or above core database experience
• Proficient with Linux operating system, specifically Redhat Enterprise Linux.
• Working knowledge of scripting languages such as Terraform, Perl, Python, Bash, etc.
• Familiarity with Agile principals and methodology
• Experience with a ticket system such as Service Now or like system
