Job Details
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with leadership to understand corporate strategy and translate it into actionable and measurable business architecture plans.
- Analyze and model business processes to create a coherent vision of data flows and operational workflows.
- Develop and maintain the enterprise business architecture framework, including capability maps, process diagrams, and flowcharts.
- Identify opportunities for improvement within existing business processes and recommend innovative, cost-effective solutions.
- Ensure alignment between business architecture and IT strategy, particularly in system architecture and application landscapes.
- Engage with stakeholders across all levels to gather requirements, feedback, and ensure alignment with organizational priorities.
- Establish governance structures to ensure compliance with internal standards and external regulations.
- Monitor project execution to ensure adherence to business architecture guidelines and performance metrics.
- Prepare detailed documentation, reports, and formal briefings on proposed architecture solutions.
- Maintain awareness of emerging technologies and recommend their adoption to align IT infrastructure with business goals.
- Conduct readiness assessments for business transformation and manage transition plans from current to future state architectures.
- Define and deliver enterprise solutions, providing both technical and business architecture leadership.
- Analyze, design, and optimize infrastructure and enterprise integration solutions.
- Provide business architecture analysis to improve efficiency, workflows, and achieve organizational goals.
- Advise business stakeholders on build vs. buy decisions for technology solutions.
- Ensure cybersecurity principles and best practices are integrated into enterprise architecture.
- Apply enterprise architecture frameworks such as TOGAF, Zachman, or FEAF (Federal Enterprise Architecture Framework).
- Demonstrate expertise in application, data, and infrastructure architecture domains.
- Ensure compliance of enterprise architecture with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Manage organizational change initiatives and guide transitions to future-state architectures.
Required Qualifications
- 10 years of progressively responsible IT experience, including successful implementation of one or more enterprise solutions.
- 6 years of experience providing technical architecture and implementation design.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications
- Enterprise Architecture certifications such as TOGAF, Zachman, or FEAF.
- Experience with business process re-engineering and enterprise transformation initiatives.
- Knowledge of cybersecurity principles, cloud infrastructure, and data architecture.
- Strong communication and leadership skills for presenting architecture strategies to executive leadership.
- Prior experience in government, transportation, or airport authority environments.
