Job Description
Join BAE Systems' Intelligence and Security Sector and be part of a diverse and enthusiastic team who is responsible for the delivery of IT services. We are searching for a candidate with strong attention to detail and self-motivated. The right candidate will have the ability to build positive relationships with stakeholders at varying levels of the organization. This candidate will be a key individual whose responsibilities directly contributes to maintaining a strong, compliant cyber security posture within BAE Systems.

The IT Auditor will be responsible for conducting audits to ensure adherence to Cybersecurity industry regulations, standards, and internal policies. They will conduct comprehensive security audits of networks, systems, and applications to evaluate the effectiveness of security controls. The IT Auditor analyzes audit results and work with stakeholders to identify control gaps. The candidate will have excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively convey audit findings. The candidate serves as a trusted advisor to IT System owners assisting in interpretation of controls for applicability and leverage previous experience to provide recommendations for implementation.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills
  • 6+ Years with HS, 4+ Years with AA, 2+ Years with BS
  • Proficiency of NIST 800-53, NIST 800-171 and CMMC standard

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
  • Certification related to cybersecurity and/or audit such as CISSP, CISA, CRISC, Internal Audit, SOX
  • Bachelor in Cybersecurity, Computer Science or related field
  • Experience in one of more of the following:
    • systems administration
    • cybersecurity operations
    • cybersecurity training
    • endpoint, vulnerability, and enumeration tools (e.g Tenable, Nessus, Splunk, etc.)
    • Agile methodologies
  • Experience with Assessment & Authorization processes

Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $92290 - $156860

Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
