Job Title: Scrm Master / Agile Practitioner
Location: 100% Remote Position
Duration: 12+ Month Contract
Primary Purpose of Position

As a Scrum Master you will be responsible for ensuring frameworks, methods and techniques that promote agility are understood and enacted. You will ensure that the team and organization adhere to the values of the Agile Manifesto and the twelve principles therein. You are a servant leader. You help employees, teams and stakeholders understand and implement modern product development practices. You are a facilitator, trainer, coach, and mentor for the team, organization, and enterprise. You are not defined or bound by your title but instead focus on delivering value and promoting an environment that supports high-performing and healthy cross-functional teams. You may at times fill various roles based on organizational needs and your own abilities, including: Scrum Master, Team Coach, and Enterprise Coach. You seek to continuously improve your own skills, the effectiveness of your team, and the organization s understanding of Agile. You measure progress using learning milestones. You support the five elements of a learning organization: personal mastery, mental models, shared vision, team learning, and systems thinking. You adhere to the five Scrum values: focus, courage, openness, commitment, and respect.
Requirements:
- Bachelor s degree or equivalent experience
- 3+ years of Product and IT experience
- 2+ years in the role of Scrum Master, Product Owner, or Agile Coach
- 1+ years of experience applying multiple agile frameworks like Scrum, Kanban, LeSS
- 1+ years of experience working on large scale, multiple Scrum team projects
- SCRUM Master Certification
- Experience leveraging AI tools in the software development lifecycle in order to improve quality and efficiency.
- Excellent English communication skills in written and spoken form
- Excellent speaking, facilitating and resolution skills
Preferences:
- United States Citizenship strongly preferred
- Willingness and ability to travel 25% of the time preferred
- Curriculum development and delivery
- Experience with developing DevOps practices and culture
- Scaling of Scrum Certification(s)
- Healthcare experience
- Understanding of other processes and methodologies and can speak intelligently about them and leverage other techniques to provide value to a team/enterprise
- Familiarity with common Agile practices, service-oriented environments, and better development practices Participation in industry agile communities
- As a requirement of UnitedHealth Group's contract with the Department of Defense, this position may require U.S.citizenship.
