About the Team
The BLAW/BTAX/BGOV Platform Services team plays a critical role in supporting our product development lifecycle. We offer a suite of robust, centrally managed services, including a Kubernetes-backed PaaS, that enables teams to develop, deploy, and manage applications both on-premises and in AWS. Our CI/CD ecosystem ensures seamless collaboration between engineering, product, QA, and data teams, all while upholding our rigorous security standards.

The referenced salary range is based on the Company's good faith belief at the time of posting. Actual compensation may vary based on factors such as geographic location, work experience, market conditions, education/training and skill level.

We'll trust you to
- Contribute to the design and development of Kubernetes-based infrastructure for our core platform services.
- Collaborate with developers, QA, product managers, incident management and other support teams to deliver reliable and scalable tools.
- Help manage and evolve our CI/CD pipelines and deployment workflows to align with best practices and security requirements.
- Work cross-functionally and cross-regionally to solve problems, drive platform adoption, and deliver new capabilities.
- Apply Agile principles to iteratively build, improve, and deliver solutions with a focus on productivity and team velocity.
You'll need to have
- 4+ years working with a modern programming language like Java, Python or Ruby.
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and container orchestration tools.
- Working knowledge of cloud infrastructure, preferably AWS services related to containers, storage, and monitoring.
- A Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, similar field of study or equivalent work experience
We'd love to see
- Understanding of software security concepts, such as IAM and mTLS.
- Familiarity with core networking concepts: firewalls, proxies, DNS, etc.
- Familiarity with modern JavaScript frameworks like Vue.JS, React or Angular.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills across technical and non-technical teams.
