Senior Engineers, Systems Reliability located in Atlanta, GA will improve and protect the software and systems behind all of T-Mobile's IT services, including management of scalability, availability, latency, performance, security, and capacity, and delivering of software faster, better, and cheaper.
Position duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Skill requirements:
Designing and building EC2, S3, RDS, SES, VPC, ELB, Redshift, Cloudfront, and Route53. Working with DevOps Pro in Docker, Kuberenetes for administrating, deploying and orchestrating IT cloud infrastructure. Writing with server lambda functions in python and Java to automate AWS tasks. Implementing robust security activities utilizing shell and python scripts with least privileged access to users and applications with enhanced security features. Building automated scripts and coordinating with the software development team utilizing comprehensive knowledge of software development life cycle. Maintaining and monitoring Splunk Infrastructure and assisting in the proper operation and performance of Splunk, loggers, and connectors. Evolving applications into CI/CD utilizing industry best practices and assisting in deployment and release processes utilizing Gitlab.
Experience and education requirements:
PRIMARY REQUIREMENTS: Master's degree in Computer Science and Information Technology, or related, or its foreign equivalent, and 3 years of relevant work experience.
ALTERNATIVE REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Information Technology, or related, or its foreign equivalent, and 5 years of relevant work experience.

- Design and maintain CICD Pipelines to building the next generation of T-Mobile applications on cloud-native platforms, the SRE's enable great customer experience and product innovation by continuous improvement of operational support.
- Demonstrate fluency in emerging DevOps-centric automation tools and technologies for CICD, configuration management, etc. for non-prod environments.
- Perform environment management, automated server provisioning including Kubernetes/Conductor, and Private Cloud/Docker.
- Deliver software to improve the availability, scalability, latency, and efficiency of T-Mobile's services.
- Create and use dashboard for continuous monitoring and health check of applications, and the underlying infrastructure, improving the quality of services using the monitoring feedback for the non-production environment.
- Contribute to future improvement of software delivery processes and operations, e.g., cloud enablement, use of microservices with containerization.
- Drive automation through software and scripting to ensure efficiency for SRE team.
- Maintain and improve CICD pipelines for stability, consistency, and removal of manual deployment steps.
