Director, Business Relationship Management (Hybrid)

We have an immediate need for a direct hire Director, Business Relationship Management to join a leading foodservice organization. The Director, Business Relationship Management is a strategic business partner who shares ownership for both business strategy and business value results. The BRM owns executive-level relationships and serves as a single point of focus, working to converge functions such as IT, Operations, Commercial, HR, Finance, etc. and one or more lines of business or value streams.

Location: Brea, CA (Hybrid working 3 days onsite per week)

This job expects to pay around $145,000 180,000 annually plus benefits.

What You Will Do:


  • Lead as the strategic interface between the BRM s function and business partner to stimulate, surface, and shape business demand and ensure that the potential business value from those assets and capabilities is captured, realized, optimized, and recognized. Measure and communicate business value realized with the business partner on aperiodic basis.
  • Partner with the project/program/portfolio management organization (PMO) to ensure a healthy and well-managed initiative portfolio. Ensure project and initiative progress, including consistent and effective communication. This includes managing escalation and avoiding risk.
  • Collaborates with business units to analyze and measure the effectiveness of existing business processes and develop sustainable, repeatable, and quantifiable business process improvements. Focus on business value rather than solutions to develop ideas, including digital awareness, risk assessments, business continuity, and business capability requirements.
  • Partner with enterprise architecture to develop and maintain multi-year business capability roadmaps.

What Gets You The Job:


  • BS in engineering, computer science, or 10+ years related field experience.
  • Business Relationship Management Professional (BRMP ) or similar certification preferred.
  • 8+ years of functional experience in the business function ideal.
  • 7+ years of experience facilitating the development and implementation of business initiatives and projects, based on management objectives.
  • Strong experience with diverse business applications (especially SAAS based and ERP systems), diverse manufacturing processes and associated operational technologies.
  • Develop a deep knowledge of the business partner s business unit and build positive relationship development, both horizontally and vertically.
  • Proficient in programming languages such as JavaScript, Python and C#. C and C+ a plus.
  • Strategic thinker, ability to map joint organizational vision and long-term thinking.
