Position Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced and hands-on S/4HANA SAP SCM AMS Onsite Transition Manager to lead the AMS Phase 2 transition for a manufacturing client. This role focuses on SAP MM/PP and SD and requires strong leadership in Knowledge Transfer (KT), Transition, Hypercare, Stabilization, and Regression Testing.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Knowledge Transfer (KT) Planning & Execution

• Develop and execute a detailed KT plan for MM/PP & SD areas.
• Coordinate with the incumbent team for structured KT sessions.
• Ensure comprehensive documentation of processes, configurations, and developments.

1. Transition Management

• Serve as the primary onsite lead for AMS transition activities.
• Work closely with offshore teams to implement a dual-shore support model.
• Drive the completion of transition readiness checklists across functional streams.

1. Hypercare & Stabilization

• Lead Hypercare planning with defined SLAs and resolution protocols.
• Oversee issue resolution, root cause analysis, and system performance monitoring post go-live.
• Ensure high-priority issues are addressed in MM/PP & SD modules.

1. Regression Testing Leadership

• Design and manage regression testing cycles during transition.
• Collaborate with QA teams to prepare test scripts and validate outcomes.
• Track issues, escalate when needed, and ensure resolution.

1. Functional Hands-On Support (MM/PP and SD)

• Actively support MM (purchasing, inventory, vendor management), PP (MRP, shop floor), and SD (sales orders, delivery).
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues.
• Assist with enhancements, configuration changes, and user training.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Information Systems, or equivalent.
• 8 12 years of SAP experience in MM, PP, and SD.
• Minimum 2 full-cycle S/4HANA implementations.
• At least 3 years of experience in AMS or support transition roles within manufacturing.
• Strong understanding of discrete/process manufacturing and end-to-end SCM processes.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience working onsite with global manufacturing clients.
• Familiarity with ITSM tools (ServiceNow, Remedy).
• SAP Fiori, interface monitoring, and IDoc troubleshooting.
• Exposure to integration with FI/CO, QM, and WM/EWM.
