Job Details



A leading organization in the financial services industry is seeking a Senior Data Scientist to join their growing analytics team. This role will lead end-to-end model development, mentor junior talent, and help mature the data science lifecycle to deliver measurable business impact.



Direct Hire | $130-150k | Hybrid in Sacramento, CA




Key Duties:



  • Lead development and calibration of predictive and segmentation models

  • Partner with cross-functional teams to deliver actionable insights

  • Guide junior analysts in technical skill-building and best practices

  • Build scalable solutions using Python, SQL, Databricks, and Azure Fabric

  • Translate complex data into executive-level visualizations using Power BI




Requirements:



  • 10+ years in data analytics, with 5+ years in data science and engineering

  • Advanced skills in Python, SQL, Power BI, and machine learning frameworks

  • Experience mentoring team members and implementing production ML workflows

  • Strong grasp of data warehousing, dimensional modeling, and SLDC principles

  • Bachelor's in a quantitative field required; Master's preferred
