One of our clients in the government domain is looking for a Mainframe to support and guide a team in understanding and transitioning legacy mainframe applications to a modernized environment. The role involves working with key tax-related systems, including Modernized eFile (MeF), Treasurer of State (TOS) remittance, ePayments (ACH and Credit Card), and MiniOaks Distribution of Funds.
Mainframe Developer
Onsite: Columbus, OH
Long Term Contract
Year of Experience: 20 years
Responsibilities:
- Understand and educate the team on application systems on the mainframe platform.
- Assist in the transition to the new system.
Systems Involved:
- Modernized eFile (MeF) and databases
- Treasurer of State (TOS) remittance
- ePayments ACH and Credit Card
- MiniOaks Distribution of Funds
Requirements:
- Experience with mainframe technologies: COBOL, JCL, and DB2 (Required: 20 years)
- Knowledge of business tax processes (Required)
- Experience with tax systems (Preferred)
