Role : Integration Engineer
Location : Tampa, FL (Hybrid)
Full Time Role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable interfaces between our systems and those of our partners, suppliers, and customers.
- Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues while ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for all integrations.
- Collaborate with internal teams to gather requirements and implement custom integration solutions.
- Monitor integration performance and optimize for efficiency and reliability
- Implement security best practices for all integration points.
- Stay current with emerging integration technologies and recommend improvements to existing systems.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in integrations development, with significant exposure to API and EDI technologies
- Strong knowledge of JSON, XML, and web services
- Experience with EDI standards (X12, EDIFACT) and B2B integration patterns
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or C#
- Familiarity with integration platforms or ESB solutions (MuleSoft, Dell Boomi, etc.)
- Experience with data transformation and mapping techniques
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with cloud integration services (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform)
- Knowledge of industry-specific data exchange standards
- Experience with ETL tools and data warehousing concepts
- Background in e-commerce or supply chain technologies
- Exposure to API management platforms
- Understanding of security protocols (OAuth, JWT, etc.)
