EDI Integration Engineer

Role : Integration Engineer

Location : Tampa, FL (Hybrid)

Full Time Role

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable interfaces between our systems and those of our partners, suppliers, and customers.
• Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues while ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for all integrations.
• Collaborate with internal teams to gather requirements and implement custom integration solutions.
• Monitor integration performance and optimize for efficiency and reliability
• Implement security best practices for all integration points.
• Stay current with emerging integration technologies and recommend improvements to existing systems.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
• 3+ years of experience in integrations development, with significant exposure to API and EDI technologies
• Strong knowledge of JSON, XML, and web services
• Experience with EDI standards (X12, EDIFACT) and B2B integration patterns
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or C#
• Familiarity with integration platforms or ESB solutions (MuleSoft, Dell Boomi, etc.)
• Experience with data transformation and mapping techniques
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with cloud integration services (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform)
• Knowledge of industry-specific data exchange standards
• Experience with ETL tools and data warehousing concepts
• Background in e-commerce or supply chain technologies
• Exposure to API management platforms
• Understanding of security protocols (OAuth, JWT, etc.)
