Responsibilities:
Analyze business processes and application functionality to identify improvement opportunities.
Provide day-to-day support for IT systems, including issue resolution and user assistance.
Document system configurations, workflows, and support procedures.
Collaborate with developers and other IT staff to implement changes or enhancements.
Assist with testing and validation of application updates.
Maintain clear communication with stakeholders regarding system performance and changes.
Coordinate work with technical staff to meet state IT standards and requirements.
Participate in project work as directed by the program manager and as assigned by the project management team, the approved project plans, and the approved project schedules.
Required Skills:
Experience in application support and system analysis.
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Familiarity with enterprise applications and data workflows.
Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical audiences.
Basic SQL or data query skills (preferred).
Mainframe
Current experience in Natural required
Knowledge and experience developing mainframe applications using Natural, Adabas, DB2, Oracle, and Job Control Language (JCL)
Primary toolsets include TSO, Librarian (source version control), IBM Fault Analyzer, IBM Debug Facility
Good working knowledge of relational databases
