Senior Test Engineer

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in need of a Senior Test Engineer in Jersey City, NJ.

Responsibilities:
* Prepare, maintain, and execute manual and automated test cases/scripts based on user stories
* Ensure traceability from requirements to test cases and automation; Maintain test documentation and data
* Review test plans and automation approach with stakeholders for coverage and feedback
* Track execution milestones, report risks/issues, and prioritize testing activities
* Build end-to-end business scenarios; Collaborate with delivery teams and engineers (frontend, backend, smart contracts) to ensure quality
* Maintain and enhance test automation framework; Develop and update API/UI automation tests
* Analyze test results, resolve defects, and clarify requirements proactively

REQUIREMENTS:
* Strong knowledge of blockchain technology, OOP, and web application architecture
* Expertise in API testing, UI testing, and automation framework development
* Hands-on experience with Cypress, Playwright, and CI tools (Azure DevOps)
* Solid understanding of SDLC (Scrum, Kanban), testing levels/types, and test design techniques
* Skilled in reviewing requirements, problem-solving, and SQL database fundamentals

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
