Pay Range: $50 - $55/hour. Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Data Security (70%)
  • Owns overall security architecture and governance across the Workday platform, including modules such as HCM, Talent and Performance, Compensation, Absence, Payroll, and Time Tracking.
  • Provides functional guidance and expertise to implement and maintain security configurations.
  • Acts as the Workday HCM Security Subject Matter Expert (SME) for projects, activities, enhancement requests, and break fixes, offering input or identifying necessary changes to the security design.
  • Handles the development, configuration, and ongoing maintenance of security policies for data domains, business processes, dashboards, and reports.
  • Responsible for configuring and maintaining various security groups, including role-based, segmented, intersection, and custom security groups.
  • Plays a key role in developing and driving process improvement and automation initiatives.
  • Serves as project manager or technical lead for implementation, enhancement, and optimization projects as needed.
  • Data Privacy (30%)
  • Partners with team members and functional partners to achieve data privacy objectives, potentially leading initiatives of various sizes.
  • Acts as a subject matter expert under the guidance of Legal and Data Privacy teams, advising on data protection and data privacy practices.
  • Ensure systematic compliance audits are performed and address the findings.
  • Integrates risk management principles into data management processes.
  • Collaborates with subject matter experts to maintain an accurate and current global, regional, and local data assets inventory.
  • Supports operational processes and governance frameworks by working closely with IT, Legal, and Data Privacy teams, and serves as technical lead in deploying supporting security frameworks.
  • Documents the connection between data and related business functions, enabling system workflows, integrations, and automation, with input from data creators, owners, and consumers.
  • Validates the configuration and rules for data in all HR master data systems.
  • Manages projects of varying scales to deploy processes that support or improve the people data lifecycle.

Key Requirements and Technology Experience:

  • Key Skills; Workday Security Configuration
  • Data Privacy & Compliance Integration (GDPR, audits, SoD)
  • Business Process Design
  • Minimum of 5 years overall experience.
  • At least 2 years of data security and access management experience, as well as 2 years of data privacy, compliance, or data protection experience.
  • Bachelor s degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Experience in project management.
  • Ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical partners.
  • Workday security experience required.
