Consultant will be managing the end-to-end procurement process within SAP, including materials management, inventory, and integration with related systems in Ariba.
This role would require strong configuration, troubleshooting, and process optimization skills, often involving data migrations, functional specifications, and business blueprint development. Key responsibilities would also include managing purchase order outputs, invoice verification, and integration with other SAP modules like FI-AP.
Key Responsibilities and Skills:
SAP MM Expertise:
Implementing, configuring, and supporting SAP MM modules (Materials Management) for procure-to-pay processes.
Procure-to-Pay Process:
Managing the entire P2P lifecycle, from purchase requisition to invoice payment.
Integration and Data Migration:
Handling integration with Ariba, other SAP modules (like FI-AP), and non-SAP systems, including data migration activities.
Configuration and Troubleshooting:
Configuring and troubleshooting SAP MM functionalities, ensuring system stability and performance.
Functional Specifications and Documentation:
Developing functional specifications, business blueprints, and process documentation. Process Optimization: Identifying areas for improvement in the P2P process and recommending solutions.
System Monitoring and Control:
Ensuring that SAP modules and systems are set up to monitor and control end-to-end P2P processes. Collaboration and Communication:
Working with cross-functional teams (business, IT, vendors) to implement and support P2P solutions.
Continuous Improvement:
Staying up-to-date with new SAP releases and best practices in P2P.
Leadership and Training:
Leading and mentoring team members, providing training and guidance on SAP MM and P2P processes. Additional Skills and Knowledge: ABAP:
Understanding of ABAP programming for custom development and enhancements.
SAP Ariba:
Experience with Ariba for electronic procurement and supplier management.
OpenText VIM:
Experience with OpenText Vendor Invoice Management. Data Analysis and Reporting: Analyzing data to identify trends and improve P2P performance.
Project Management:
Managing project timelines, budgets, and deliverables for P2P implementations.
Business Acumen:
Understanding of business processes and requirements related to procurement and finance.
