Role: Risk Assessment and Process Improvement - Hybrid
WorkMode: Hybrid
Location : Sacramento, CA.
My client is actively looking for an IT Security and Governance Consultant to assess, strengthen, and remediate security, privacy, and governance controls through gap and risk analysis, compliance mapping, and audit remediation support.
Mandatory Staffing Qualifications (MSQs)
1. Minimum of Ten (10) years of experience in evaluating an organization's governance processes and performing comprehensive risk assessments.
2. Minimum of Ten (10) years of experience in performing gap analysis of an organization's security and privacy controls with respect to NIST SP 800-53 Security and Privacy Controls for Information Systems and Organizations.
3. Minimum of Ten (10) years of experience in developing information security policies and procedures, and implementing controls aligned with NIST SP 800-53 Security and Privacy Controls for Information Systems and Organizations.
4. Minimum of Ten (10) years of experience in developing policies, procedures, and standards aligned with the California SIMM requirements and guidelines.
5. Minimum of Ten (10) years of experience in developing technical documentation with demonstrated technical writing skills, specifically in the area of information technology.
