Help Desk Technician---GREEN BAY, WI

This is a contract opportunity and will be onsite in Green Bay. There could be some opportunity for a Hybrid schedule down the line.

The IT Help Desk Technician provides solutions to our employees that will rapidly restore normal service operation. This position is responsible for 1^st level IT support which may include Incident/Service Request recording, Problem Management, Knowledge Management, and escalation and follow-up for IT supported products and services in accordance with documented standards and procedures. Position requires a broad level of technical skills and decision making.

Tactical / Technical

• Meets or exceeds department goals for initial contact resolution of issues and requests.


• Troubleshoots issues and notifications of system problems. Ensures appropriate and accurate escalation of issues that require resolution by other support groups.


• Provides Help Desk coverage adhering to standard operating procedures and defined processes with ability to work independently as needed.


• Provides follow-up to employees with hardware, software, application or process issues, to ensure productivity of all Schreiber Foods employees.


• Informally trains employees on the effective use of technologies at Schreiber including computer, conferencing equipment, mobility, voice, network connectivity, and various software applications.


• Ensures Knowledge Base is updated with current information.


• In depth knowledge of MS Office applications.

Strategic

• Participates in small IT projects.


• Utilizes the Ivanti Service Management tool to provide trend analysis and recommendations for support improvements.
