Job Description:

The Senior ERP Business Analyst is a part of our client's Shared Services IT team and indirectly manages teams of IT and business professionals, both onsite and remote, for production support, report development, and project management. This position works as a liaison between IT and business process owners to implement ERP solutions leveraging MS Dynamics Finance and Supply Chain (FSCM). This is a techno-functional role requiring both business process and technical solution support. Job Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Participate in the company s Zero-Incident Safety Culture.
  • Participate in the on-going exchange of ideas and information across the IT team in a collaborative manner while identifying inefficiencies and working to eliminate them to improve overall IT performance.
  • Indirectly manage cross-functional teams of IT and business professionals to support production and project management.
  • Provide training and support to end-users on how to use BI tools and reports effectively, as well as troubleshooting issues and providing guidance on best practices for data analysis.
  • Identify business process improvement opportunities including automation and software integration options; provide cost benefit analysis and justification for the identified requirements.
  • Maintain project schedules, timelines, and demonstrate skills to prioritize and deliver projects on time and on budget.
  • Stay up to date on technology solutions by reading, analyzing, and interpreting general business periodicals, professional journals, and technical procedures.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to customer service and work with a sense of urgency.
  • Serve as a thought leader for the business teams by providing recommendations and proposed solutions that solve ongoing issues and improve performance.
  • Assist with troubleshooting issues related to D365 business processes.
  • Ensure compliance with data governance policies and security standards.
  • Exhibit behaviors that foster a positive culture and a desire to achieve the Company s core values.
  • Other assignments that may or may not directly relate to the responsibilities of the position.

Education, Experience (required except where noted)

  • Bachelor s degree or equivalent in a related discipline; advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum of (3) plus years progressive experience working as an analyst/configurator in a Microsoft Dynamics AX/FSCM environment.
  • Minimum of (3) plus years of experience working with SQL Server scripting.
  • Demonstrated experience in process documentation including functional and technical design specifications.
  • Experience in Microsoft Power Platform, Azure technologies, and proficient in Power BI.
  • Experience in data modeling, report writing, and forms design using Power BI and Azure Data Factory.
  • Experience in development methodologies and tools such as DevOps and Agile.
  • Experience in a manufacturing, selling, & distribution company preferred.
  • Experience developing solutions in a MS Dynamics CE, PM and field service modules preferred.
  • Experience in IT Service management, digital transformation concepts, automated testing procedures.
  • Experience in Six Sigma preferred.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Comprehensive knowledge of ERP business processes as it relates to Finance, Sales, Purchasing, and Production.
  • Knowledge of database management tools and techniques in a Microsoft environment.
  • Possession of excellent communication skills (verbal & written).
  • Possession of organizational, efficient, and detail-focus skills.
  • Ability to articulate ideas clearly and be able to invoke ideas.
  • Ability to resolve conflicts quickly and professionally.
  • Ability to present information professionally in all formats including but not limited to reports, business correspondence, procedure manuals, and presentations.
  • Ability to grow into a more advanced role as needed to support overall company expansion and growth.
  • Ability to design and implement data models and ETL processes to extract data from ERP systems, transform it into a format suitable for analysis, and load it into the BI environment.

Work Environment

  • Must be available to work primarily in the office with travel to the company s sites as required.
  • Work is performed indoors in an environmentally controlled setting.
