Job Title: Golang Developer
Location: Mclean VAKey Responsibilities
- Design and implement robust, maintainable backend services using Go (Golang)
- Build and optimize RESTful APIs and microservices architecture
- Collaborate with DevOps to ensure smooth CI/CD pipelines and containerized deployments
- Integrate with cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud Platform, or Azure) and manage infrastructure as code
- Write clean, testable code and participate in code reviews
- Monitor and troubleshoot production systems for performance and reliability
- Work with databases (SQL/NoSQL) and caching systems like Redis
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with Golang
- Strong understanding of concurrency, goroutines, and channels
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud-native development
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools like GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or GitLab CI
- Proficiency in working with REST APIs, gRPC, and message queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ)
- Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB)
- Solid grasp of software engineering principles and design patterns
Nice to Have
- Experience with GraphQL, Prometheus, or OpenTelemetry
- Familiarity with Go frameworks like Gin, Echo, or Fiber
- Exposure to event-driven architecture and distributed systems
